| Donna Sophronia-Sims, originally from Mobile, Alabama has lived in Birmingham, Alabama for almost 30 years. A graphic designer by trade for the past 16 years, she also studied photography in college and participated in two juried art shows, receiving a merit of distinction for her work. In 2001 she took a metal art fabricating class and at first created strictly functional pieces. Then a chance find one day inspired Donna to create sculptures that celebrate movement with humor and whimsy. |
